Why did the Microsoft update on the morning of Dec.14th cause my HP notebook to freeze, slow down, refuse to process commands, etc. after the restart? I had to manually shut down the computer after I couldn't close Edge. That blue-white circle just kept going round and round, for about 2 hours. It still took about 20-30 minutes to finally sign back in and open Edge. Now the update icon in the task bar wants to update and install again! I'm a bit leery to update and install again after what happened the first time.
