OK. I was given an old windows 7 computer(not working) it had a 1tb hard drive in it so I put it in a hp usb hard drive enclosure and connected to my laptop but i am unable to format it to use it. In disk management it pops up right away Virtual Disk Manager - Access Denied. It does show in disk manager as unknown and not initialized. I've tried changing the drive letter, I've tried using diskpart, I've tried to run chkdsk with no success. I was hoping someone could help me get this formatted
