Windows 10 BSOD with new SSD

I've just installed a new crucial 1tb SSD to replace a 250gb SSD (this is not the C drive and I copied the files from the previous drive to the new drive) and I get constant game crashes and BSOD from playing games stored on this drive, I get the kernel mode heap corruption error when it BSODs. games on other drives work fine. I've noticed that when games do crash it also suspends my browser in task manager. Do I need to return the drive to crucial or is there any way I can fix this? windows produced no dump files from any BSOD so I cant provide info, in event viewer it is classed as event id:
