My SSD is out of space and my desktop has basically become inoperative because of the lack of space. How do I move the OS to the pre-installed HDD?

My computer came with 2 drives (HDD and SSD). The OS was installed on the SSD and is now out of space and basically rendering the desktop pretty much useless. I cannot install any security updates/patches/etc. nor can I install any of the latest updates/SP's.The HDD is 900GB+ and is mostly unused. I have NO free space on the SSD where the OS is installed. What is the best way to move the OS from one drive to the other and is this even possible? I've read several topics re: installing a new drive and cloning the drive where the OS is installed.
