PCI root ports, PCI simple communications controller and other PCI related devices missing in device manager.

Hello,I was trying to figure out why my graphics card wasn't being detected on my computer and I realised a lot of PCI devices are missing from the device manager. My graphics spins to life but it show no video. is there any way I can fix this problem or is my graphics card broken? I would appreciate if anyone could help.
