So, I have this Acer P225HQ monitor I used with my old laptop but recently my brother gave me his old Alienware, and I factory reset it and installed all the drivers and updated everything and would not connect to the monitor no matter what I do, it picks it up, but it doesn't share screen it just keeps an orange standby light. It isn't a damaged VGA cable because it works with my old laptop, it isn't a damaged VGA port because even with an HDMI adapter it doesn't work. Even as a last resort i tried to copy my old laptop drivers specifically for the monitor to the new laptop and it doesn't wor
