My desktop has no icons, and whenever I open an app, it doesn’t show up on the windows.

I’ve had this problem today, all I can do is try to restart my PC. Whenever I open any app, like Settings, it doesn’t show up, like it’s a minimized window. My icons are also gone. I don’t know how to fix the problem.
