Multiple Domain setup in Server 2003

Hey everyone,

Just a quick question. Is it possible to have multiple domains configured
on 1 computer? Specifically we want to have a new domain and exchange email
services installed on a computer already running an exisiting domain/exchange
server.

Does anyone have a link for a walk thru or is the process the same as
setting up the original? Also can we use the same Static IP for the 2nd
domain/exchange server?

No not in the classic sense.

You might be able to accomplish this with one Virtual server and two
"hosts".

One computer can't be multiple domains. However, you can setup exchange for multiple domains. This how to may help,

Just to clarify. I can setup Exchange to receive email from multiple
domains. But can I set it up so I can retrieve/send email from 2 domains
seperately on 1 pc?

i.e. I can have 2 seperate logins for Outlook Web Access.. one for
account@company1.com and another for account@company2.com

Yes, you can setup Exchange for multiple domains for your users to send emails, for example you company have two domain names.

I have completed these steps:
http://www.howtonetworking.com/server/exchange2.htm but I think there is some
more steps I am missing. Like how can I differentiate the 2 domains within
user accounts and have certain users be able to use both domains and others
not.

When you configure another domain to Recipient Policies, you receive the following message: Address generation for [SMTP] has been enabled for all newly created Recipients. Do you want to automatically add this Address Type to all existing Recipient e-mail addresses? Click Yes if you want to generate this SMTP addresses for existing users. Otherwise, click No to give only newly created users this address. Assuming you do not want every user to have this e-mail address, you click No. Now you must create another recipient policy for those specific users who need this addresses, or manually add the address for each use by opening ADCU to add the second domain email. You do that under e-mail addresses.
