The Windows Malicious Software Removal Tool (MRT or MSRT, MRT.exe) log file (C:\WINDOWS\debug\mrt.log) shows that starting in April of 2022, it started running every day, and sometimes more than once per day. Before then, the log file shows that it ran just once-a-month, when it was prompted by Automatic Updates on Update Tuesday. From what I have read about MSRT, the monthly run schedule was in the original design, or at least the design since ~ 2015, but I can't find anything more recent that acknowledges a change to a daily run.It only runs for 10-15 minutes early in the morning, but it c
