Display not working after windows boot screen, but works fine on Normal HD TV

I know there isn't anything wrong with my monitor because before i reinstalled windows recently my pc was working just fine. I only recently installed windows because my hard drive had gotten corrupted but ever since I did that I'm not able to use my pc on my current monitor.Ive updated all my drivers to their most recent release but under display adapters (where my Nvidia graphics card is) i get a error like message in the event tab that reads...Driver Management has concluded the process to add Service NVWMI for Device Instance ID PCI\VEN_10DE&DEV_13BB&SUBSYS_109810DE&REV_A2\4&am
