Looking for an idea or some help. I have a computer that is a standalone Windows 10 machine that multiple users use but I would like to only allow a select group of users (admins) have access to the CD drive and external devices (preventing people from adding programs or extracting data) . For the life of me, I have looked around and it appears that in order to gain this level of granularity, I need Windows Server to enforce this kind of group policy, but as I stated before it's a standalone system. Any ideas or help would be great! TIA!
