On my desktop mrt runs in 5 minutes, my laptop takes 1.5 hour

The monthly update includes the running of mrt.exe (malicious software removal tool), no problems with that.My desktop, a i7-4770 16 GB 256GB ssd runs it in about 5 minutes, great. My laptop , a i5 6200U 8GB 256GB ssd takes 1.5 hour for the same. Both are running the same AV. Both run smoothly, up-to-date and cared for (32 years of IT-Support experience...)I understand that the desktop is faster then the laptop, but 5 minutes vs 1.5 hour is a bit weird, happens each month :-(Any ideas?Thanks for your time
