I have an external hard drive that I use at work and home as a common data storage. I have been using external 3.5" mechanical drives raid mirrored for many years without a problem. I have now changed to SSD drives in a different enclosure still using Raid mirrored. The drive was set up on my work PC. If I carry out work at home and save to the drive, when I get to work the next day, the data/file is showing. When I try to open it, the file fails to open and then disappears. I can't then see the file at work or home. It has gone. I have never had this issue with the mechanical drives. It doesn
