Facebook Messenger flagged as PUA

Hello, two days in a row Windows Defender has flagged the uninstall .exe for Facebook's Messenger as a potentially unwanted app. Is it just a mistake on Defender's part or has the Messenger app been compromised and I should refrain from using it?
