Microsoft Flight simulator 2020 combability

Hi, I need some help as Microsoft support will not answer me! I bought Flight simulator 2020 online, unfortunately, after checking that my aging PC could run it. Of course it was a lie and I cannot run it. So I would like to know if buying a second hand Nvidia GTX 770 or 970 will be ok for my processor, an Intel i5 - 650 @ 3.20Hz Any help will be much appreciated
