My Dell laptop died and I found another similar Dell without a hard drive. I put my the hard drive from my dead laptop and booted up the machine. Received message activation required but could not answer the questions to activate.? Similar problem due to the checksum resulting in this problem. Whats my recourse to getting this hard drive activated? Been getting by for a couple of months .
