I had done one windows update two days ago, but otherwise no updates or installs., I just booted up my machine and all the desktop icons were gone(completely invisible, no missing image-image.) All images within the file explorer are transparent. Most icons on the taskbar of open applications show a generic icon instead of the proper program icon. I have tried to refresh icon cache in several different ways, no results. I think this is something far worse than that. Additionally, I noticed right clicking a option in the explorer and clicking properties does not open. No error message. Any Idea
