This morning I opened my computer only to find that my Windows settings turned into a temporary one!I tried fixing the problem through searching solutions in forums, articles and videos. I found videos helped me out the most and it instructs me to go to "regedit" and delete the temporary profile in "Computer\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\ProfileList" and rename the other profile by delete its '.bak' at the end, the '.bak' file contains my actual profile settings and I heard that deleting the TEMP one and renaming the backup file will restore it.
