Open pffice files dont work at all

Not working when opening Office documents in the browser. When I click doc, excel, or ppt files, they always open a blank tab, download the file, ask me if I want to open it, and then launch Word, Excel, or Powerpoint while simultaneously leaving a blank tab open.
