Cannot enable SMB

I have the exact same problem as described in this post from 2018:Redirecting am not able to enable SMB /CIFS from the "Turn Windows features on or off" : I am allowed to click on the checkbox (upper level), but then get the error message 0x80073701.I did try the suggestion as described in the link above (disabling SMB1 and SMB2 in the registry, restart, re-enabling), but this does not work for me.I am aware of the danger of SMB 1; in this case, the computer is not
