Minecraft Realms telling me I need permission to open a realm despite not being a child account.

I am trying to renew my realm subscription on Minecraft Java Edition and it's telling me I dont have permission to make purchases. My microsoft account is and always has been an adult account with no parent account associated with it. I've already purchased a realm subscription prior to this and had no issues. I've checked all my privacy/online settings and I have permissions to everything. I've also tried submitting a support ticket to Minecraft with no help there. I'm assuming it's my microsoft account that's causing the issue.
