Do dangerous affected items of a detected virus get removed too?

Several threats (, a trojan and 3 AutoKMS) were found on my computer and quarantined but the "affected items" seem to be dangerous (terra.exe, KMSspico, KMSspico_setup, and one with 12 different affected items like Autopico, and KMSELDI. Some also contain the word "uninstall" which makes me a bit worried). With the threats being quarantined, are the affected items also deleted from my computer? Or does "affected items" mean "items that have been removed"?
