I called the number when I got the pop-up saying my IP address has been used illegally... I don't remember everything said. What should I do?

I got a popup on my computer saying my ip address has been illegally used and Microsoft has found spyware on my computer. I called the number and was on the phone for 2 hours with Microsoft support. They downloaded remote access software onto my computer and had me visit all my accounts to make sure everything was ok. I began to feel very violated and then got a follow up call saying I needed to go to the store and buy some kind of a card and Microsoft would pay me back. I told him I was sick and then he told me it was very important and that I needed to smile. I hung up. Is this a scam?
