Windows 10 iso file

I've downloaded the windows 10 iso file. After download, it asked me to burn it to disc. I did this, but there's no iso file on the disk. There's a setup.exe, an .ini file, some other files, and some folders that were burned to the disk. No iso file. Is this normal? Did I do something wrong? Should I have downloaded the .iso and save it to the computer and then run the setup.exe? Or, is this normal and I should be able to reinstall Windows 10 from the disc that I burned? Please help!
