W 10: needed to use Restore system file images. Thought it would be good to decrypt disk. Once decrypt complete, will restore still work?

Windows 10: I mistakenly deleted my PATH variables, and was going to use my backed up system (from WIndows Backup and restore) to restore JUST the file images. I thought it might be good to turn off BitLocker before doing that, so I started that process. Will the Restore function still work once the decrypt is complete?Thank you.
