Error code 0xd000a002 and ‘set up my PIN’ just loops back to the same screen?

Please help if you can!Windows 11 updated and now it won’t accept my pin to log into my account. I get the error code 0xd000a002 and then when I click on ‘set up my PIN’ it whirs for a while then goes back the original log in with your PIN screen. I therefore can’t log in with my Microsoft account credentials or change any of the settings as have been recommended recently. Laptop is only 3 months old but does anybody have any ideas of how I can fix this short of throwing the whole thing in the bin and buying a MacBook?! Any help much appreciated.
