I was initially getting an error of "The Audio services is not running". I fixed it with services.msc and choosing a local account and then reverted back to my Admin account. Now that ugly icon of speaker icon with crossed out is no more visible but I cannot even hear anything through my internal speakers. I am at my wits end. Please help me. Oh yes, another thing, when I open my Volume Mixer, I cannot see anything below "Applications", which might be the reason.
