It sounds like a weird question with a simple answer: change mousepad.Both of my mice are the same brand, build etc. but that hasn't given me issues before. I recently retired an old mousepad and bought a new one for my pc right after this issue started; but when I use either mouse (I tested both to make sure it wasn't a battery issue) there are periods where the cursor will stop and the buttons won't work, as if it had turned off for a varied amount of time (sometimes 1 second, sometimes 10 and sometimes in-between those two).
