How is an audio device driver installed in windows 10?

I suddenly have no sound from my Dell windows 10 laptop. I've done the troubleshooting, but it appears my laptop is missing the audio device driver. One of the instructions said to search for Device Manager then go to Sound, video & game controllers. Audio driver is supposed to appear, but instead I get: iphone A2DP SNK and iphone Hands-free HF Audio. So I'm unable to go further to follow the uninstall and install instructions. I would appreciate suggestions on how to correct this problem.
