I unhid and hid my AppData folder and some of the folders in it- that messed up my Windows in not so good ways. How can I sort that?

I unhid and hid my AppData folder and all the folders in it and that messed up my Windows. Why did that happen?____________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________Here is what happened after I did that:Explorer.exe stopped responding. I could not access the Windows menu, the taskbar, I could not open mp4 files, jpgs, or any files for that matter. Also, no button shortcuts were working.
