First character in password is always lower case when coming out of screensaver.

I have a windows 10 x64 from an upgrade from Windows 7. I am also in a domain.My windows password starts with a capital. Whenever I log in from the screensaver (3d text) it does not accept the capital, but puts a lower case in the spot. I have checked it with the 'eye' on the password entering field. Always lower case on the first entry. If I hit backspace a few times before entering the capital, it works, as done on the second try because the first failed. Most annoying. This is the only time it happens.I really do not want to reinstall. This is a working machine and I cannot afford to
