since the other thread on this was locked.... supposedly this happens after a Win 10 update--no idea which one--or if trueI had this happen. had a com port (GPS) go missing. Thought it went bad (built-in GPS device), and even sent the laptop in for repairTurns out the device-- UBLOX GPS moved itself to "sensors" under device manager.Our software that needs the GPS couldn't see it as it needs a com port number to workI ended up finding it in DM under sensors, right clicking, properties and uninstalling the device....INCLUDING the drivers (a checkbox)after a restart, it had moved itself back
