Is there a way to override priority of apps showing up over others when they are first loaded?

It's a small issue, but here it is:I open an application (let's say a design software), and when the startup graphic shows up, I alt+tab to the previous app I was working in to continue work (let's say microsoft word), but the design app I just opened (once fully loaded) takes priority and shows up over word, making me switch back again. Sometimes it overtakes the screen multiple times before completing the loading process and that gets annoying.My question is this: is there a way to override priority of loading apps so it doesn't show up over others after I alt+tab out of it?
