HP Omen Laptop Windows is not responding

I had changed in msconfig my boot cores to twelve from whatever the default setup was. Restarted my laptop. Then proceeded to run a userbenchmark to see if there was any changes. Userbenchmark actually installed a program this time rather than being a simple exe file like it has always been. It ran fine up till the end when it started doing read and write speeds of my HDD's and started taking way too long and made my laptop unresponsive. I hard killed my PC. Restarted it and it proceeded to a black screen asking for me to select a OS. Launched windows and it started to lock screen as normal. I
