Phone Link Issue - Messages show unread on other device even after read on Phone Link on my PC

When I am on my PC and using Phone Link and click and read a text on that, my cellphone Samsung S22 Ultra does not mark text messages as read. They are still on my cell phone as if they are new and unread. It will be in my notification panel as new and unread.Also, when I am using Microsoft Teams on my PC and I have read a message, my cellphone app does not update either and still shows the messages as new and unread. It will be in my notification panel as new and unread.Is there a setting to change this?
