why won’t my computer recognize my blue yeti mic?

I just bought a new blue yeti microphone from somebody off fb marketplace which said it worked perfectly, but when i plug it in, it lights up but my computer doesn’t recognize any usb being plugged in. i’ve gone to device manager and tried adding legacy hardware but it says it can’t due to the function driver not being specified for this instance. i’m not sure what to do but i’d like to get my mic to work with my device.
