I have an external USB (5TB, NTFS format) drive that Windows 10 indexes successfully, but after a few days it looses all the index information for that drive. So when I search the drive in File Explorer, no results come up. I ran the Windows indexing troubleshooter and it says "problem fixed", however, searching the drive yields no search results.I have to choose "advanced" in Indexing options, then "delete and rebuild index" and have Windows 10 do a laborious rebuilding of the entire index which takes a long time (1 to 2 hours, i think).
