Applications not opening after May 2023 update

Today is 5/14/2023Some applications will not open after installing the May 2023 update. They are on the start menu list. They opened prior to the update. examples: office 2003 Exel, Adobe Reader, etc.Rebooted- No change. Uninstalled Adobe Reader and reinstalled from MS Store. Ran app repair in settings. Does not open.Apps that open: Firefox, Zoom, Notepad++, CCleaner, Settings, Ran SFC /scannow Repairs were made. Checked today for updates- Up to Date.
