Continued BSOD video_dxgkrnl_fatal_error Erazer Gaming Notebook Beast X10 repeatedly

My laptop (Gaming Notebook Beast X10 by Medion) repeatedly gets a blue screen with above error message after running smoothly for varying lengths of time. After restarting, my NVIDIA graphics card would not show up/could not be enabled in the device manager. After running the fixes below everything would be ok until the error popped up anew.
