I ran a malware infected file which disabled my windows update and its related services which on using a restore point got fixed, however I wanted to know why Windows Defender never prevented the virus so I scanned the infected file which when I downloaded in zip was only 14 mb showed itself as 740 mb in explorer.The windows defender froze my whole PC, I could barely do anything, no other processes except defender was taking the resources, so I thought maybe Defender is fixing the file instead of deleting it.I tried to shift+delete the file but I accidentally ran it.It was a simple spywar
