why i cant delete my fonts?

i have some chinese and urdu, etc... fonts that i will never use so i've tried to delete some of them from settings and from their folder in c:\windows\fonts (also in safe mode too) but when i hit delete\uninstall nothing happens... as if i didn't delete them and no further messages or notifications when windows makes sure i want to delete\uninstall the font. same happens with my other laptop with a completely different user\email address.how can i delete those fonts?
