I was having issues with my laptop that I haven't uses for awhile causing my cpu usage to be at 100% all the time and very high disk usage. I decided to attempt to use Microsoft Defender Offline scan tool. After the laptop initially restarted I was returned to the login screen and met with a error stating that something went wrong with my pin. The only other option I have is to use my Microsoft password. But my verified good Microsoft password returns as wrong password or username. I am unable to use the reset password option.
