Last night I reformatted my pc, and it changed Windows 10 to Windows 8; this morning it's not rebooting at all

What's going on? any ideas? My pc is nine years old, is it gone? it was the best pc I ever had: fast with a ton of RAM. How can I turn it on? I took out the battery, and I reinstalled it, but it didn't help. I have been charging it in case the battery drained last night since I left it on hibernate, but thus far nothing has happened. It is plugged in. Is this the wrong community? should I go to Lenovo?(*Moved from feedback.)
