I installed Visuaal studio code. Ran it once as administer. Now it wont run without Elevated privaleges How do I stop this as I dont think it is requ

I ran VS Code as administrator - it works oh but now I can't seem to tell it to run normally. The shortcut to run the program does not have the Run as administrator box checked but elevated privileges are still required. Checking an unchecking the box does nothing. Re-installation does not help. System restore does not help. I hesitate to poke around the registry but that may be required. Any help appreciated
