Why does this come up when i press the "Type here to search" box at the bottom of my computer? Can I make it go back to normal?

I realized that when I press the "Type here to search box", a new screen pops up. Its weird because I can't even search anything, so what's the point? This is a picture of what the screen looks like because I couldn't take a screenshot for some reason.
