Minecraft multiplayer is disabled!?

Hello,I am trying to play Minecraft but it keeps saying "Multiplayer is disabled. please check your Microsoft account settings." My account was in a family group but the privacy settings couldn't be changed. So I left the family group and have had everything set to allow. I have submitted it many times and multiplayer is still not available, and keeps giving me the same message. I have looked all around to what to do since I assume I should be able to play multiplayer. Why is it not working?
