Several documents in my documents folder (.docx and .pdf) were locked without any action or warning. I was able to access these files before they randomly became locked, even when logged in as an administrator. I have tried accessing these files from methods in forums and personal research but nothing has worked so far. When trying to open .docx documents in Word, an error message pops up saying "user does not have access privileges.". Documents that are added to the folder since then do not lock, but the original documents remain locked. Is this a known issue and is there a known fix/cause fo
