Desktop icons in alphabetical order

Continuation of: Redirecting issue has dragged on for decades with the Windows desktop. I get having the "name space" icons in a separate top line group, but whatever is going on with the rest has to stop already. Look in the screen shot provided in the previous locked thread. There's the top line "name space" icons, there's a first A-Z group, and then a second A-Z group. How is it this hard to fix this debilitating bug?
