Can't install Windows Updates

I have been unable to install Windows Updates for the past few days. I have tried every fix I can find on the internet and nothing works. All that happens is that the error sometimes changes. Currently it says 'We couldn’t connect to the update service. We’ll try again later, or you can check now. If it still d!oesn’t work, make sure that you’re connected to the Internet.' Obviously I am connected to the internet so this makes no sense.Help please.Vivien
