Good morning, for a very long time now I have been unable to play CDS on my laptop. I am on Windows 10 and fully up to date. I can play things like videos off the Internet and off my USB memory sticks but not CDS! If I put a CD into the Media Player nothing happens, no purring sound like it is going to burst into life. I have tried VLC but again it doesn't seem to recognise the CD! I have read various posts that recent updates may have coursed this! I can't remember when it last played CDS. I once use to make my own discs but not now. Could it be the drive itself that is the problem?Brian
